A: An antistatic safety shoes is a type of footwear designed to prevent the accumulation of electrical charges and safely discharge them to the ground. It is critically important for workers in environments such as electronics, energy, and sensitive manufacturing. The antistatic properties of these safety shoes help to protect both the user and the surrounding equipment by preventing the buildup of static electricity. They are especially vital in environments with explosion risks or when working with delicate devices, ensuring safety.
SR (Slip Resistance): Slip resistance refers to the non-slip feature of safety shoes. The SR standard evaluates the safety shoes sole ability to safely grip slippery surfaces. This test checks whether the safety shoes reduces the risk of slipping, particularly on slippery floors, and determines the non-slip properties of the sole.
E (Energy Absorption of the Heel Region): The energy absorption in the heel area of a safety shoes refers to how well the heel absorbs the shock during impact with the ground, reducing the amount of shock transmitted to the body. This feature is especially important for the comfort and safety of individuals who stand for long periods or perform heavy labor. High energy absorption helps reduce stress on joints like the ankle and knee, preventing fatigue and minimizing the risk of injury for workers.
FO (Fuel Oil Resistance): Fuel oil resistance in safety shoes refers to how resistant the safety shoes sole is to fuel oils, diesel, and similar industrial liquids. This resistance prevents the material from deteriorating, softening, or wearing out when exposed to fuel or oil, ensuring the longevity of the footwear. This feature also supports the safety shoes slip resistance and protective qualities, making it ideal for environments where exposure to fuel oils is common.
HI (Heat Insulation): Heat-resistant safety shoes are designed with special features to protect against high temperatures. Safety Shoes with the HI property safeguard the feet and provide comfort when working on hot surfaces. Polyurethane soles, typically resistant to temperatures ranging from 100-120°C, offer safe usage within this temperature range.
CI (Cold Insulation): Cold-resistant safety shoes are specially designed for individuals working in low-temperature conditions. CI-rated work footwear protects the feet from the cold, ensuring comfort and safety during prolonged outdoor use. Thanks to their insulation properties, they keep the feet warm and dry while providing high performance even in extreme cold conditions.
LG (Ladder Grip): Ladder grip refers to a specialized outsole design that enhances traction on vertical surfaces like ladders, allowing for better grip and stability. This feature is especially crucial for workers operating in high or elevated areas. Safety shoes equipped with ladder grip have unique patterns or materials on the sole that securely fit into ladder rungs, preventing slipping and improving overall safety. This feature helps workers maintain balance while working at heights, significantly reducing the risk of accidents. With recent updates to the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard, the ladder grip (LG) feature has now been included as an independent test for all safety shoes. Previously, this feature was only found in safety shoes designed for firefighters, but it is now tested across all safety shoes. This change aims to reduce the risk of slipping while working on ladders and improve workplace safety.
WPA (Water Penetration and Absorption): The characteristic of water penetration and absorption is a standard that tests the water resistance of safety shoes. This test determines whether the safety shoes prevents water from penetrating to the inside and how long the water can remain inside the safety shoes. WPA is particularly important for workers who are exposed to rain, puddles, or wet surfaces. The WPA feature helps keep the feet dry, enhancing comfort and preventing health issues for workers.
WR (Water Resistant): The water resistance feature is actually used to provide waterproofing. This feature is made more effective by using special membranes, such as Sympatex. WR stands for water resistance and this feature is generally provided by membranes that prevent water from passing through the inside of safety shoes. A Sympatex waterproof membrane is placed on the inner surface of the safety shoes, preventing water from entering from the outside. These types of membranes help keep the feet dry while also allowing the feet to breathe, thus preventing sweating issues.
It is a two-component polyurethane sole material.
The lower layer is specially designed to provide dynamic and wear-resistant SR characteristics, making shock loads feel as light as a feather, with the highest class of slip resistance. Thanks to the thin and lightweight structure of the lower sole, foot fatigue from the ground is neutralized at the end of the day.
The midsole is made from polyurethane material that has enhanced cushioning comfort. It is completely flexible and oriented towards comfort. It provides soft support on the entire surface the foot touches. The heel cushioning reduces pressure, and the middle part of the sole is innovatively designed to distribute pressure evenly.
Wider Foot Area: The wide Nordic fit offers extra width in the front and toe area of the safety shoes. This allows users with wider feet to feel more comfortable.
Comfort: Because the feet find more room, it provides greater comfort during long-term use. The toes do not get squeezed and remain in a natural position.
Fit for Different Foot Types: Safety shoes designed in this style can have an expanded design to better fit different foot types.
This toe protector, found in safety shoes specifically designed for individuals with wide foot structures, offers comfort, width and fit.
It is much lighter than metal toe caps. It is durable and sturdy, providing stronger protection against impacts, cuts, and other mechanical damages due to its flexibility. It is resistant to heat and electricity. Since it does not contain metal, it is beneficial for jobs that require passing through metal detectors. It is corrosion-resistant, meaning it is rust-free and long-lasting. These features provide both protection and comfort in our safety shoes.
Our insoles are pressure-relieving and anatomically shaped, suitable for use in all seasons. They offer top-level comfort and are highly effective in absorbing moisture. They provide a pleasant cushioning effect, absorbing impact energy, which helps create a healthy and dry environment for the feet.
PS Kevlar should be preferred for providing extra strength and durability. PS Kevlar Multi Protective complies with the EN 20345 standard and offers high resistance against nails that could puncture the sole and cuts. Thanks to its special formulation, it has higher heat resistance. Our anti-perforation insoles are innovative and made from 100% recyclable materials. The remnants generated during the production of this Kevlar are separated at the manufacturer's facilities and later recycled.
